Another testimony from someone who has bullied and how it affected her: By a high school cheerleader (I know this author and she is beautiful–not who you would think would be bullied) No one is immune to bullying. It’s something that can happen to anyone–boys and girls, the nerdy kid in third period, even the cheer captain. It’s a vicious cycle that affects thousands of innocent lives every year. Just for being different or just because someone just plain doesn’t like you. It can be anything from getting ignored, put down, being left out of a group, gossiped about, or embarrassed in front of your peers. The perspective about bullying from a bystander who made a difference in a girl’s life who was bullied: This morning I was drinking my coffee, getting ready to write. My husband had on the TV. He likes to turn on the TV and then leave! (Which, by the way, is bad for me because sometimes I end up watching it. Like today. But I think sometimes it is meant to be because otherwise I would never see some of the things that God wants me to see.) Below is a post from a female who was bullied in high school. I hope to share with you in the coming weeks some of people who have bullied stories. October is National Bullying Prevention Month When I was in high school I suffered bullying. It started in year ten but was quickly stopped when a teacher caught one of the boys and gave him a talking to. In year eleven things went from bad to worse. I was in what was then called the leaving course which was the final year for those not doing the Higher School Certificate or equivalent to graduating and going to college.
