Winning the Widow’s Heart
To help his dying sister, Nate Cooper once broke the law and paid a heavy price for his actions. Now the ex-con turned saddler hopes for a quiet life and new beginning in Turnabout, Texas. Being declared a hero for saving a child’s life, however, leaves Nate feeling like a fraud.
Since the violent death of her husband, single mom Verity Leggett has attempted to lead a safe life, avoiding danger and excitement at all costs. And her daughter’s handsome rescuer Mr. Cooper seems like a perfectly responsible man, one she can finally rely on.
When his secrets come to light, however, will Verity be able to get over his past and see Nate for the caring man he’s become?

Blurb for Fatal Trauma by Richard Mabry:
A gunman who has nothing to lose faces a doctor who could lose it all
When Dr. Mark Baker and Nurse Kelly Atkinson are held hostage by a dangerous gunman, the lives of every ER patient are at stake. At the end of the evening three men are dead, including two members of the feared Zeta drug cartel. Though the standoff is over, the killing is not, because when the drug cartel loses its members, revenge is not far behind.
When he finds himself under suspicion as a killer, yet still a potential victim, Mark turns to an old friend for answers he needs to face an adversary whose desires are dark and efforts are ruthless. Who is the shooter? Who will the next victim be? And can Mark prove his innocence before the gun turns on him?

I have read every book of Richard Mabry’s that I can get my hands on and have enjoyed them all. I would love to win his newest book. I have been wondering if Diet Coke is his favorite drink. I have noticed in most, if not all, of his books the hero or heroine get a Diet Coke. For me, it would have to be a Pepsi. ☺️
would love to win.
I love love Richard’s books……count me in the drawing for this one, please!
Thanks!

I would love to read Winnies book. Sounds like a wonderful read. I am sure Richards book is good too, but as a cancer survivor, I dont want to read about any more doctors or nurses for quite a while lol!
Thanks to those of you who’ve already stopped by to comment. Aside to Edward Arrington–yes, I used to drink a lot of Diet Coke (and later Coke Zero), but recently I’ve switched to Diet Dr. Pepper. Watch future books for the change.
I would love to win Richard Mabry’s book! (Already get the Kindle LI – H so I won’t enter for Winnie Griggs’ book; she is one of my favorite LI-H authors though!) Many thanks for the opportunity!
Both of these authors are on my want-to read list.
Thanks for hosting the giveaway.
May GOD bless.
