Interview with the heroine from Royal Rescue by Tammy Johnson:

1. Thea James, tell me the most interesting thing about you.

Very few people know my true identity. I am Dorthea Elizabeth Jamison and I’m a princess. For my own safety, I’ve been kept hidden away for more than half my life.

2. What do you do for fun?

For fun I love to go to the park and people watch. I love watching families and imagining someday finally having one of my own.

3. What do you put off doing because you dread it?

Some nights I put off sleeping. When I sleep, the nightmares come and I don’t like the little control I have over them.

4. What are you afraid of most in life?

I’m most afraid that my situation will put more people in danger. People have died trying to keep me safe and I don’t like being the cause of death.

5. What do you want out of life?

The thing I want most out of life is a home and family. For so long I’ve been moved from one place to another and no place has really felt like a home. I miss being able to be with my brother and I dream someday of having a husband and children.

6. What is the most important thing to you?

My faith is the most important thing to me. Without the knowledge and belief that God has had his hand on my life would have made it unbearable.

7. Do you read? If so, what is your favorite type of book to read?

I read a lot. I read my bible daily and I also love a good romance and the hope of a happily ever after. Getting lost in a good book gives me a chance to dream of the sort of life I want to have some day. I also enjoy adventure stories with heroines who can handle themselves and sometimes save the day on their own.

8. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

Sometimes I wonder if I shouldn’t be more careful about the things I say. I tend to blurt out whatever pops into my mind at times. It’s probably not always the best thing to do.

9. Do you have a pet? If so, what is it and why that pet?

I don’t have a pet now, but I’ve always wanted a dog. Actually, I’d love to have a yard full of dogs and puppies. To me, having a pet symbolizes a home.

10. If you could travel back in time, where would you go and why?

I’ve often wondered if I could have done more the night my father was killed. If I could go back to that night, I’d not have stayed hidden in the closet, I would have at least been with him to tell him goodbye.

  5. Thank you everyone for stopping by! Thea definitely gets over the nightmares, but there are things in her past she has to deal with. She gains the strength through her faith in the book to face the things she’s been afraid of.
