This week I’m hosting Debra Clopton with Her Unexpected Cowboy, Ronie Kendig with Beowulf (US only) and Lenora Worth with Bayou Sweetheart. If you want to enter the drawings for the books, please leave a comment on one of the post during the week with your email address. I will not enter you without an email address (my way to contact you if you win). If you don’t want to leave an email address, another way you can enter is to email me at margaretdaley@gmail.com. The drawings end Sunday (Jan. 12th) evening.
Interview with the heroine from Bayou Sweetheart by Lenora Worth:
1. Callie Moreau, tell me the most interesting thing about you. I love flowers. I’m a garden person. I own a nursery and do a lot of landscaping. Right now, I’m about to landscape the garden of my dreams—at Fleur House.
2. What do you do for fun? For fun—I go by my sister Alma’s café and get a piece of pie or bread pudding and we sit and gossip and laugh. We are all very close. We have a younger sister named Brenna. When she’s in town, we all get together.
3. What do you put off doing because you dread it? Having my five year check-up after surviving breast cancer. Our mother died from this disease.
4. What are you afraid of most in life? Of falling in love again and watching another man walk out of my life because of cancer.
5. What do you want out of life? The usual things any woman wants—a good home, a good husband and children, lots of children. Oh, and a big garden so my dog Elvis can run around and have fun with the whole family.
6. What is the most important thing to you? Besides health—honesty. And I don’t think Tomas Delacorte (the brooding owner of Fleur House) is telling me the whole truth.
7. Do you read? If so, what is your favorite type of book to read? Wuthering Heights is my all time favorite. Tragic but so romantic. J
8. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? That I’d be cancer free for the rest of my life. (Just so I can have the above mentioned things.)
9. Do you have a pet? If so, what is it and why that pet? Yes. Elvis is a big black and white mutt who showed up at the nursery right after my husband left me. Elvis is goofy and accident-prone but I love him so much. He gets in trouble at Fleur House but I think even Tomas is warming up to Elvis’s charms.
10. If you could travel back in time, where would you go and why? I’d go to Europe to see all the beautiful castles and gardens. I’ve always loved Fleur House. It’s big and sprawling and just begs for a beautiful garden. I have books on all the ancient estates in Europe. Not sure which time period I’d choose. I’d just like to be dropped down in a maze of hedges and I’d have fun trying to find my way out. I’d like to see the Garden of Eden, too. But I wouldn’t touch any apples J
I enjoyed meeting Callie and would love to read her story!

Thank you to everyone who stopped by and commented on “Bayou Sweetheart.” I hope you all get a chance to read all three books in my “Bayou”
series. (Sweetheart Reunion, Sweetheart Bride and Bayou Sweetheart)!
I look forward to reading bayou Sweetheart. I don’t see very many stories that include breast cancer survivors and their fears. The interview was great. Bread pudding. yum. fishingjan[at]aol[dot]com
