This week I’m hosting Jo Ann Brown with The Dutiful Daughter I (US only), Elizabeth Goddard with Love in the Air and Ace Collins with The Cutting Edge (US only). If you want to enter the drawings for the books, please leave a comment on one of the post during the week with your email address. I will not enter you without an email address (my way to contact you if you win). If you don’t want to leave an email address, another way you can enter is to email me at margaretdaley@gmail.com. The drawings end Sunday (Sept. 15th) evening.
Interview with the hero from Love in the Air by Elizabeth Goddard:
1. Kyle Morgan, tell me the most interesting thing about you. The most interesting thing about me is also the most tragic—I once competed in the world’s oldest balloon race, also considered the premiere event of balloon races.
2. What do you do for fun? Maybe you should ask me what I do for work? Kidding. I spend most of my time involved with flying hot-air balloons, and at one point in my life, racing in events around the country. There isn’t anything more fun than floating three thousand feet above the earth. As for work—and I know you didn’t ask—I’m a contract programmer. That gives me all the freedom I need to do what I love most—pilot hot-air balloons.
3. What do you put off doing because you dread it? For far too long, I put off facing Jordan’s sister after his death. I’ve put off moving on with my life, there’s too much of me wrapped in the past to let go.
4. What are you afraid of most in life? Of hurting Nikki—Jordan’s sister—again. Hurting her and Michael again would be the worst thing I could do.
5. What do you want out of life? I’d love to own my own business revolving around some aspect of balloons. A wife and kids that love the Lord, and love balloons.
6. What is the most important thing to you? Serving God, and to be the best man I can be.
7. Do you read books? If so, what is your favorite type of book? I love Clive Cussler’s action adventure novels.
8. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? I think I’m not sensitive enough—especially when it comes to Nikki and what she needs—I’m working to change that.
9. Do you have a pet? If so, what is it and why that pet? I had a black lab named Chester when I was a kid. Maybe when I get that house and wife and kids, it’ll be the perfect time to get another dog.
10. If you could travel back in time, where would you go and why? Without question I would go back to that moment in time that Jordan and I decided to compete in the Gordon Bennett. Changing that moment would change all our lives.
