Interview with the heroine from Love Finds You in Sunflower, Kansas by Pamela Tracy:

1.  Annie Jacoby , tell me the most interesting thing about you.
It’s probably that of three sisters, I’m the most uninteresting.  My oldest sister is a powerhouse.  She’s a first year lawyer and fixing to get married.  My youngest sister is the energizer bunny.  She’s finishing up a teaching degree and has every guy she meets wrapped around her finger after the word “Hello.”  Me, I didn’t go to college.  Instead, I started my own housecleaning business.  I like order in my world.

2.  What do you do for fun?
I make jewelry.  But, just like I always kept a clean room and that turned into an occupation, making jewelry has turned into a side business.  I do lots of bazaars and craft fairs on the weekends.  My jewelry website is starting to bring in customers, too.  Right now, I live with my best friend.  We do movies and stuff.  Regular girl things.

3.  What do you put off doing because you dread it?
We people who love organization rarely put things off.  I, probably, put off listening to my older sister Beth.  She tends to order to me do things and I don’t take her suggestions well.

4.  What are you afraid of most in life?
That I will let down the people around me, my friends and family.  Sometimes I feel like I’m the one holding everyone together.  One step the wrong way and chaos might occur.

5.  What do you want out of life?
I want to belong.  I also want to belong because of ‘who’ I am and not ‘what’ I do.

6.  What is the most important thing to you?
Being dependable.

7.  Do you read books? If so, what is your favorite type of book?
I love to read.  Right now, my favorite books are cozy mysteries.  Hmmm, maybe because my mother thinks she an armchair detective.

8.  If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I would have appreciated my dad more.  Maybe even gone out of my way to do something with him that ‘he’d’ enjoyed.  He had all girls.  I got my love of order from him.  I wish I could go back and find his soft spot.  I think we’d all have been happier if that had happened.  Here goes me trying to make the world better for everyone.

9.  Do you have a pet? If so, what is it and why that pet?
LOL, well, yes and no.  I didn’t have a pet, but since I met Joe Kelley, veterinarian, I’m doomed.  I know have a kitten that I’ve been nursing since he was about two weeks old, if that!  His name is Boot because he’s Bootiful (kids name him; not me).  Joe has a great dog.

10. If you could travel back in time, where would you go and why?
Again, back to when my dad was alive.  I’d show him he was appreciated.
