This week I’m hosting Elizabeth Goddard with Sheltering Love, Sandra Bricker with Always the Designer Never the Bride, and Vannetta Chapman with A Perfect Square. If you want to enter the drawings for the books, please leave a comment on one of the post during the week with your email address. I will not enter you without an email address (my way to contact you if you win). If you don’t want to leave an email address, another way you can enter is to email me at margaretdaley@gmail.com. The drawings end Sunday (March 25th) evening.
Interview with the heroine from Always the Designer Never the Bride:
1. Audrey Regan, tell me the most interesting thing about you.
I suppose the most interesting thing about me is my work. I’ve been designing clothes since I was a kid. My friend Carly and I used to put on elaborate weddings for our Barbies, and each time I would design a unique and breathtaking gown. I don’t think it was a big surprise to anyone when those little girl fantasies morphed into my design career.
2. What do you do for fun?
Fun? … Oh, wait! I remember fun! For such a long time, I have breathed design, and I haven’t had much time or inclination to devote what little energy I had left over to anything else. I have recently met a very hot guy, however, who rides a Harley Davidson. He’s taken me for a few rides, and I have to tell you … I wouldn’t mind having a Harley of my own!
3. What do you put off doing because you dread it?
Learning new technology. If my assistant Kat didn’t INSIST that I learn how to text and use a cell phone, no one would ever be able to reach me.
4. What are you afraid of most in life?
Failure.
5. What do you want out of life?
Promise not to tell anyone? I’d love to be swept off my feet. You know, that can’t-live-without-you kind of love where you feel like you’re floating all the time? I mean, it’s distracting, and I probably wouldn’t get much done, but WOW! I’d love to spend a few days with Prince Charming, just to see what all the hype is about.
6. What is the most important thing to you?
Success in my career…my best friend Carly…Did I mention career success?
7. Do you read? If so, what is your favorite type of book to read?
Oh, I don’t have time to read. Although I do make mince-meat of the fashion magazines! Cover to cover, taking no prisoners, I study them like textbooks trying to figure out how to go a step beyond, how to make a better (and more chic!) mousetrap.
8. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
I suppose I would find a way to slow down a little. Carly has such bliss and joy in life. Sometimes I imagine what that would be like.
9. Do you have a pet? If so, what is it and why that pet?
No. No pets.
10. If you could travel back in time, where would you go and why?
I’d go back to the beginning of the week so I could get more accomplished! Wouldn’t everyone?
I can identify with making clothes for my dolls. ALWAYS THE DESIGNER NEVER THE BRIDE does look like a wonderful read.

I made clothes for my dolls too! Knitting and sewing, in probably horrible colours and combinations, but they never complained!
I really enjoy Sandra Bricker’s books and would love to be entered!
