Bio for Debbie Kaufman:
Debbie Kaufman has always found a good book to be a great escape. Years ago she failed to heed her mother’s advice when told to get her nose out of a book. Instead, she parlayed her reading addiction into writing award-winning fiction. Originally a Kentucky girl, Debbie now lives in Georgia with her own romance hero, her husband of over thirty years. Her first novel is a Love Inspired Historical titled The Doctor’s Mission (Nov. 2011).
Blurb for A Doctor’s Mission:
A woman doctor! Missionary William Mayweather can’t hide his disappointment. The Nynabo mission in Liberia, Africa, desperately needs help, but he’s vowed not to put another female in jeopardy. Too bad flame-haired Dr. Mary O’Hara refuses to turn back—and he cannot allow her to go into the jungle alone.
Medicine or marriage? For Mary, the choice was clear. Far away from the patriarchal medical community, she resolves to be of real service. She’ll willingly go head-to-head with the handsome, opinionated missionary, even in the face of deadly danger. Yet the greatest tests lie in trusting God’s plan—for the mission, and her future happiness in this untamed, beautiful land….
Bio for Victoria Burks:
Victoria Burks, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother is a business co-owner, active in her church and community, and speaker for various women’s groups. In her spare time she indulges in her passion to write inspirational romantic suspense.
Educated at Oklahoma Wesleyan University, Victoria resides in Oklahoma with her husband of 36 years, William, her best friend.

Blurb for A Legacy of Love:
With her love life in shambles, Danielle McKinnon is ready for a change—a big change. When a letter arrives from an attorney in Georgia stating she’s the beneficiary of a distant relative’s estate, it’s an opportunity she can’t pass up investigating. A trip to Atlanta reveals her inheritance includes ownership of Stratford Hall, a historic, secret-laden, two-hundred-year-old antebellum manor in the midst of the Appalachian Hills.
Although the bequest is like a dream come true, there are others determined to steal the legacy from Dani. They will stop at nothing, even murder, to gain control of her inheritance. Add to the mix her dashing new love interest, Attorney Justin Harcourt; the delightful caretaker of Stratford Hall, Annie O’Brien; and a mysterious cowboy who always seems to show up when Dani is in perilous situations, and things couldn’t get more complicated.
Drama unfolds as Dani struggles over tough choices. Is her desire for a new beginning and the obligation to her birthright enough to risk all? Is her infatuation with Justin jeopardizing her new-found faith in God and the possibility for true love? In “A Legacy of Love”, author Victoria Burks creates an exciting story of faith, romance, and danger, leaving readers guessing until the very end.
