This week I’m hosting Colleen Coble with Lonestar Angel, Ginger Garrett with Desired, and Anita Mellott with School Is Where the Home Is. If you want to enter the drawings for the books, please leave a comment on one of the post during the week with your email address. I will not enter you without an email address (my way to contact you if you win). If you don’t want to leave an email address, another way you can enter is to email me at margaretdaley@gmail.com. The drawings end Sunday (October 30th) evening.

Heroine Interview from Lonestar Angel by Colleen Coble:

Eden, tell me the most interesting thing about you.

I never wear jeans. When I was growing up, I had to wear jeans that were torn and too short and I swore when I could afford to buy my own clothes, I would always look nice.

What do you do for fun?

I’m trying to learn to cook. I’m finding I have a knack for it. 

What do you put off doing because you dread it?

I have pictures of my baby daughter that should be put in an album, but I haven’t been able to go through them.

What are you afraid of most in life?

I’m terrified to ever experience pain and loss again. It hurt too much when we lost Brianna. I don’t ever want to risk that again.

What do you want out of life?

I’ve always wanted to have a family. To feel secure and loved.

What is the most important thing to you?

To discover if Brianna is really still alive. It doesn’t seem possible, but I can’t help hoping.

Do you read? If so, what is your favorite type of book to read?

I love reading but it has to be something happy and uplifting. I can’t read about children being hurt or abused. I also read a lot of medical books and stay up on medical research.

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

My feet are too big. I’d love to wear a size five!

Do you have a pet? If so, what is it and why that pet?

No pets, but I’m learning to like horses. Maybe someday. . .

If you could travel back in time, where would you go and why?

I would go back to that moment when Brianna was kidnapped and change the outcome.
