This week I’m hosting Jennifer Hudson Taylor with Highland Sanctuary, Rachelle McCalla with Princess in Peril, and Donita K. Paul with Dragon of the Watch. If you want to enter the drawings for the books, please leave a comment on one of the post during the week with your email address. I will not enter you without an email address (my way to contact you if you win). If you don’t want to leave an email address, another way you can enter is to email me at margaretdaley@gmail.com. The drawings end Sunday (October 16th) evening.

Interview with the hero from Dragons of the Watch by Donita K. Paul:

1.  Graddapotmorphit Bealomondore, tell me the most interesting thing about you. Wizard Fenworth gave me a sword, the Sword of Valor. The weapon makes me a far better swordsman than I am. Its properties change depending on the situation I am in, and it always meets my specific need.

2.  What do you do for fun? I love art. I draw, paint, and sketch. I collect art and study it. I am constantly working to improve my technique.

3.  What do you put off doing because you dread it? Although my father and I are on friendlier terms than we used to be, it is still difficult to be the only artist in a family of entrepreneurs. Family get-togethers can be trying.

4.  What are you afraid of most in life? People consider me a great warrior, but I do not like to fight. I am an artist. My first battle terrified me. The evil I have seen, especially The Grawl, still wakes me up at night.

5.  What do you want out of life? I want to be a servant of Wulder. I want to learn His teaching and follow where He leads. I want to be honorable.

6.  What is the most important thing to you? My friends are dear to me. I am close to Princess Tipper, Wizard Fenworth, and Verrin Schope, among others.

7.  Do you read books? If so, what is your favorite type of book? Although I am not a librarian, I enjoy reading. I read art books and study the Tomes of Wulder. I like a good fantasy once in awhile. It is amazing to me that an author can create an entire world. And high fantasy is the classic good against evil story that usually inspires me to live on a higher plane.

8.  If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? I have grown confident in who I am, but I am lonely. I love my friends, but I yearn for a wife and children of my own. Someday, I want to sheath my sword and raise a family.

9.  Do you have a pet? If so, what is it and why that pet? I have a healing dragon named Laddin. I do not consider him a pet, however. He would find that offensive.

10. If you could travel back in time, where would you go and why? If I had the opportunity, I would travel back in time to join the Urohm expedition from Amara to Chiril. They completely missed the point of their journey. I want to give those leaders a stern lecture on responsibility, humbleness, and grace.
