Bio for Kay Marshall Strom:

Kay Marshall Strom is the author of thirty-six published books. Five were chosen as book club selections, nine have been translated into foreign languages, and one was optioned for a movie. Already well established as a non-fiction writer, her Grace In Africa fiction series has met with high acclaim, receiving praise from Publishers Weekly and a starred “Highly recommended” review from the Library Journal and placement on ALA Booklist’s 2010 listing of “Top Ten Inspirational Fiction.” In addition to her writing, Kay is an in-demand speaker. Her work as a 21st century abolitionist takes her around the globe where she speaks out against social injustice, especially modern-day slavery. She and her husband make their home in the Pacific Northwest.

Blurb for The Triumph of Grace, Book 3 of the Grace in Africa trilogy:

This riveting conclusion of Grace Winslow’s fight for freedom carries her from England to America’s Deep South. After learning that her husband, Cabeto, is on a South Carolina plantation, Grace dons a sailor’s disguise and boards the only ship headed for America. When her secret is discovered, Grace is locked in the hold and made ready for the slave auction block. In South Carolina, Grace is bought immediately, but is soon sold to a man who is not truly a slave keeper. Moved by her story of perseverance and faith, John Hull makes Grace’s mission his own. Grace now has a dear brother in Christ to help her, but a restored sense of hope does not mean the path to finding Cabebo will be clear… or free of trouble.

Blurb from American Library Association’s Booklist Magazine:
“Straight from the nightmare of the eighteenth century African slave trade comes the robust story of Grace Winslow. A truly inspirational story that will grip your heart from start to finish.”

Blurb for The Green Veil:

Colette loved Manason long before he came back into her life. But in Wisconsin’s virgin pine country where lumber barons ruled private empires, her vow was to his enemy.

Lumberman’s daughter, Colette Palmer has always loved timber cruiser Manason Kade — even though he only remembers her as a child. Leaving Michigan to settle with her family in the Wisconsin wilderness, and separated from him by miles and years, compassion compels her to marry another.
Manason longs to plant roots of his own in Wisconsin Territory. But when he stakes his claim and challenges the illegal log harvesting of a rival company, Colette’s husband will stop at nothing to ruin him. Then one day Manason and Colette meet again. Now, she will have to choose between her first love and her commitment to her marriage vows, while her faith and an empire in pine hang in the balance.
