Congratulations to Juanita for winning Linore Rose Burkard’s The Country House Courtship and to Suzie for winning Anita Higman and Irene Brand’s Under the Mistletoe.

This week I’m hosting Sandra Robbins with Yuletide Defender and Cathy Bryant with A Path Less Traveled. If you want to enter the drawings, please leave a comment on one of the post during the week with your email address. I will not enter you without an email address (my way to contact you if you win). If you don’t want to leave an email address, another way you can enter is to email me at margaretdaley@gmail.com. The drawings end Sunday (December 19th) evening.

Bio of Sandra Robbins:

Sandra Robbins and her husband live in the small college town where she grew up. Until a few years ago she was working as an elementary school principal, but God opened the door for her to become a full-time writer. Without the help of her wonderful husband, four children, and five grandchildren who have supported her dreams, it would be impossible for her to write. As a child Sandra accepted Jesus as her Savior and has depended on Him to guide her throughout her life. It is her prayer that God will use her words to plant seeds of hope in the lives of her readers. Sandra enjoys hearing from her readers. To find out more about Sandra and her books go to or contact her at http://sandrarobbins.net or contact her at Sandra@sandrarobbins.net.

Blurb for Yuletide Defender:

Is a vigilante responsible for the murders of Lake City gang members? According to reporter Rachel Long’s anonymous source, yes. The goal is to trigger a gang war—and her investigations lead Rachel to the heart of the battlegrounds. Which is where she finds handsome officer Matthew Franklin. The protective cop wants her out of harm’s way. But she needs the raise from a big story to secure care for her special-needs sister. Rachel won’t walk away, even though the vigilante is now aiming at a determined reporter—and a tailing cop—for a showdown just in time for Christmas.

Path less traveled
Bio of Cathy Bryant:

Cathy Bryant is a former public school teacher who handed in her chalk for a private music studio and the opportunity to write. Her passion is to write heart-stirring words to show God’s life-changing grace. She’s the owner of the popular blog, WordVessel, and has written devotions for The Upper Room magazine, two devotional books, and online devotional sites. She’s the wife of a music minister, the mother of two grown sons and a beautiful daughter-in-love, and the Nana of Harrisen. A Texas gal since birth, Cathy lives in a century-old Texas farmhouse with her husband and a phobia-ridden cat.

Texas Roads (her debut novel and a 2009 ACFW Genesis finalist) released in March 2010. The second Miller’s Creek novel, A Path Less Traveled, was launched in November 2010. The Way of Grace (book 3 in the series) will be available in 2011. To learn more, visit her website at www.CatBryant.com.

Blurb for A Path Less Traveled:

Grief paints a celebration with shades of gray . . .

Trish James is tired of being rescued. When a spooked horse claims her husband’s life, she’s determined to blaze a path for herself and her traumatized son without outside help. But will that mean leaving the place etched on her heart?

Andy Tyler has had to struggle for everything, and starting a new law practice in Miller’s Creek, Texas is no different. Though prepared for business challenges, he’s not prepared for falling in love–especially with yet another woman who will probably abandon him for her career.

Will Andy and Trish be able to see past their limited human understanding to take a path less traveled?
