You might ask yourself why a post in December is titled Happy Thanksgiving. I thought this entry posted on Thanksgiving but discovered a few days later it hadn’t so I am posting it this week–first day of December. I hope you have a great Thanksgiving with your friends and family. May God be with you.
I love Thanksgiving–the preparation, the food, especially the pecan pie and cornbread dressing, and the family visiting. But another reason I love Thanksgiving is that it is a great time to reflect on how the year has been going for you. This has been an exciting year for me. I sold my 75th book recently. I am branching out into writing different books–a historical romance for Summerside Press and a contemporary romantic suspense series–the Men of the Texas Rangers–for Abingdon Press. I am also thankful for my family and friends and the fact I am through doing the 6 hours of exercise a day for my shoulder after the surgery. What are you thankful for this year?
Also the first five people who leave a comment on this post will be able to choose either an autograph copy of A Daughter for Christmas or Christmas Bodyguard. I will need you to leave an email address for me to contact you.
Happy Thanksgiving to you too? We should be thankful daily anyway, it was a good Thanksgiving, turkey and pies, etc. Loved it, thanks for your blessings, and blessings to you. Juanita W

Forgot to mention am so thankful that I know the Lord, without Him life would be a bummer. Wish everyone would open their hearts to the Lord and walk with Him, the best of life for sure. Thankful for my family too. Should have mentioned it in the first comment, but don't know how to add this to it. Juanita W

Woo hoo, Margaret!!! Congrats on becoming the new president of the ACFW. That's great!
And I see you've got books coming out all over the place – yay for that too. 😀
So Jessie would turn the cold shoulder if I didn't put in for an autographed book she can take back to Calgary, so I will. That way she isn't taking mine with her. LOL
I want to wish you all the best in your life with your family, books and new job. I'll be praying for you. 🙂

I hope you had a very Happy Thanksgiving Margaret. I am most thankful for the healing touch that God performed on my husband's eye this year. It was truly a miracle. Praise God.
May you have a wonderful Christmas too!
Blessings,
