ACFW conference

I can’t believe I have to wait another year to go to an ACFW (American Christian Fiction Writers )conference. I believe this year’s conference was the best ever and that’s saying a lot because I’ve always had a great time. The worship service was wonderful and uplifting. Debbie Macomber was so inspiring in her speeches. I have her picture above. The classes were informative and helpful for writers. Robin Miller and her staff did a great job of putting this conference together. Thank you.

The best part of conference to me is seeing my friends–old ones and new ones as well as the editors and agents. On Friday night a lot of the Love Inspired authors at the conference get together to eat dinner and enjoy each other’s company. I have several pictures of them. Liz, Betsy and Pamela. Also Laurie and Ginny then Winnie and Lenora in another one.

I traveled hundreds of miles and still got a chance to run into friends from my area, too. The pictures below are of some Tulsa writers. Gina, Therese and Cindy and then myself and my roommate, Vickie.

If you get a chance, think about going to the ACFW conference next September. It’s great professionally but also just a lot of fun. Fair warning, however, you will come home exhausted but pumped to write.
