Bio for Sandra Robbins:

Sandra Robbins and her husband live in the small college town where she grew up. Until a few years ago she was working as an elementary school principal, but God opened the door for her to become a full time writer. She admits it’s a relief to step out of bed in the mornings and head to her computer instead of rushing off to greet teachers and children as they arrive at school!

Sandra and her husband met when she was still in high school and he came to the college in her hometown. They met in the church where they were married three years later. They’re still members of that congregation and have seen their four children baptized and married there. Without the help of her wonderful husband, four children, and five grandchildren who’ve supported her dreams for many years, it would be impossible to write.

Her first attempts at creating a novel were directed toward historical romance. A childhood love of Nancy Drew mysteries, however, gave her a different direction, and now she spends her days dreaming up mayhem and mystery in the lives of her characters.

Today as she plots her latest mystery or suspense, she thinks about Nancy and all the pleasure she’s given to girls through the years. Like Nancy Drew she wants to entice the reader to keep turning the page until wrongs have been righted and romance has blossomed in her characters’ lives.

It is her prayer that God will use her words to plant seeds of hope in the lives of her readers. Her greatest desire is that many will come to know the peace she draws from her life verse Isaiah 40:31—But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

Blurb for Final Warning:

WLMT radio talk show hostess C.J. Tanner is shocked when she receives a creepy email challenging her to a game. The sender who identifies himself as Fala tells her he’s about to commit murder and only she can stop him by solving his riddles. When C.J. is unable to arrive at an answer, the gruesome murders begin. First one, then another.
As she struggles to solve the riddles, she is attacked with guilt because she realizes several people are walking around unaware they are targeted for murder.

Mitch Harmon, C.J.’s ex-fiancée and a police detective, is determined to do whatever it takes to keep harm from coming to the woman he let slip away. He’ll put his own life on the line to keep C.J. from becoming the killer’s final victim.

Back Cover Copy of In The Shadow of the Sun King:

Seventeenth century France is an unsafe time to be a Huguenot. By order of King Louis XIV, all French Protestants must immediately convert or face imprisonment—or death. The king’s dragoons ferret out the nonconformists, pillaging villages and destroying homesteads.

When the king’s soldiers descend on the Clavell estate, the family’s fate hangs in the balance. Quickly, quietly, they send their two sons into hiding, trusting that the young age of their daughter will guarantee her protection. But the dragoons will not be dissuaded; they hold the manor hostage looking for clues of their guilt or innocence. However, Madeleine Clavell, the lady of the manor, holds a secret—one possible chance to save the family. She and the king share a past.

Once a beautiful young lady in the French court whom Louis loved, Madeleine travels to Versailles to plead for mercy from the fickle king, hoping to regain his favor and save her family. It’s a gamble, but she is left with no other choice. Madeleine soon faces an agonizing decision—one that changes her family forever.

Based on historical fact and Golden Keyes Parsons’ family genealogy, In The Shadow of the Sun King is a rich and intriguing tale of one extraordinary woman’s courageous battle for family, love, and true faith.
