Congratulations to Cherie for winning Lyn Cote’s Her Captain’s Heart and Becky for winning Michelle Griep’s Gallimore.

This week I’m hosting Cynthia Hickey with a Heartsong Mystery called Fudge-Laced Felonies (I love that title!). If you want to be entered in a drawing for this book, please leave a comment with your email address or email me at The drawing ends this Sunday evening.

Cynthia Hickey’s bio:

Cynthia Hickey lives with her husband in Arizona with two of their seven children. She grew up in the Ozark mountain foothills of Arkansas, and still calls that area her home. Going back to visit, restores her soul. Outside of writing, she is the Detention Monitor at the local school.

Blurb of Fudge-Laced Felonies:

While transplanting the rosebush her church’s handsome greeter, Ethan Banning, inadvertently killed, Summer and Ethan discover a hidden stash of diamonds, a rusty can full of cash, and a bloody gardening glove. This discovery sets Summer and her candy-making aunt on a search for a killer.

As Summer gets closer to the truth–not only of the theft but of her true feelings for Ethan–the diamond thief hatches a plan to hush the feisty sleuth.

Ethan’s love for Summer stays buried beneath his teasing, especially when she appears to be attracted to someone else. Summer’s quirky and daring resolve to crack the case has him acting heavy-handedly in order to protect–but will it push her away for good?

  3. I’d like to be included for this one!

  4. Cynthia, you commented that your agent submitted your book to Barbour. Were you familiar with the publisher before? I’d like to be entered in the drawing. Merry Christmas! Ronica

  5. Love to be entered for this one. Thank you!

    Merry Christmas!

  6. No, I wasn’t familiar with any publisher besides POD. I’d read lots of Barbour books though. My agent and Barbour had this all cooked up ahead of time and presented the contract to me at the ACFW conference in 2007. Barbour are wonderful people.

  7. I am a fan of these Christian cozy mysteries and would love to win Cynthia’s book. Thank you!
