This is the last interview from the authors of Snowbound Colorado Christmas. If you want to enter the drawing for it, please leave a comment with your email address or email me at margaretdaley@gmail.com. The drawing ends Sunday evening.

Interview with the heroine from Tamela’s story:

1.Thalia, tell me the most interesting thing about you.

I love to entertain because I believe that part of being a good witness for Christ is to have fun in healthy, wholesome ways. I enjoy friends and family, and believe they are God’s gift to us.

2.What do you do for fun?

I love hosting parties! Everyone wants to be invited to my parties because I have many friends and you can count on me for a great spread of food. We all play games and music, too. People talk about my parties for months. They are legendary.

3.What do you put off doing because you dread it?

I hate dusting! This is a big chore in my house because we have lots of knickknacks. However, I can find joy in the memory each object brings, and perhaps something happy related to the person who gave the object to me.

4.What are you afraid of most in life?

My invitations getting lost! Seriously, I fear for anyone who doesn’t know the Lord. I want to stay close to Him always.

5.What do you want out of life?

I want a happy home. Maximilian is perfect for me because he enjoys lots of friends and family being around a good part of the time. I want lots of healthy children.

6.What is the most important thing to you?

I would never give up my relationship with Christ, for any reason, or for any person or thing.

7.Do you read? If so, what is your favorite type of book to read?

Of course, I read my Bible every day, but my favorite author of fiction is Jane Austen.

8.If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

That some people think of me as frivolous. In some ways I may be, but I have a lot to offer beyond the surface. I want people to get to know me.

9.Do you have a pet? If so, what is it and why that pet?

A stray cat comes to the back porch from time to time and I feed him. He’s grown from scrawny gray to a much healthier weight. I named him Tom. Not very original, I know. I do have a heart for animals needing help. I think once I have children, I’d consider a family pet for them if they really want one. Perhaps a cat.

10.If you could travel back in time, where would you go and why?

I think the grand courts of France and England sound ever so glamorous, don’t you? I’d love to be a favored member of the court, but I’m not sure I’d ever want the burden of being royal.

This has been ever so much fun! Do drop by for tea sometime, won’t you? We are home every Thursday afternoon. And I’ll add you to my list for the May Day picnic I’ll be having at home. Hope you’ll be there!
