This week I have as a guest author, Nancy Farrier. I first got to know her through Faith, Hope, and Love Chapter of RWA. She works hard every year to make sure the IRCC (FHL’s published author’s contest) is successful. If you want to be entered in the drawing that ends on Sunday evening for Nancy’s book, Picture This from Heartsong, please email me at margaretdaley@gmail.com or leave a comment with a way to get in touch with you (example an email address in the comment).
Nancy Farrier Bio:
With over 300,000 books in print, Nancy began her book writing career with the release of her first novel, Sonoran Sunrise. (Barbour, 2001) Since then Nancy has published eight novels, three novellas, and coauthored one nonfiction book. She has also contributed to several devotional books. Her books have won awards such as the Heartsong Contemporary Book of the Year, and has been a finalist in prestigious contests like the National Reader’s Choice Contest and the Holt Medallion Contest. Nancy has also published many articles and short stories in magazines such as Today’s Christian Woman and Focus on the Family Clubhouse.
Nancy has been married for twenty-five years. She and her husband have four daughters, one son, and a grandson. She loves spending time with her family. Raising children is a great gift from God. Right now she has three daughters still at home, two who are going to a local college, and one who is a finishing her freshman year of high school. They are so much fun, although there are times…
Nancy grew up in Indiana on a small farm where she spent hours making up stories to act out. One of her favorite pastimes during school was daydreaming. Little did she know years later God would use that ability for something good.
Nancy and her family attend a Calvary Chapel Church. Fellowship with other believers is one of her times of refreshment. Hearing the Bible teaching, sharing in worship, interacting with other believers, and watching God work in her life and other’s lives, keeps her energized for Him and ready to serve.
Writing is her passion for God. She believes He called her to do this work for Him. Nancy loves to hear from those who’ve read her books and been touched in one way or another by them. She is so thankful for her readers and their insightful comments.
God’s verse to Nancy for her writing: “Then the Lord answered me and said: “Write the vision and make it plain on tablets, that he may run who reads it.”” Habakkuk 2:2

I’ve known Nancy all her life, and your interview is right on target. I own every one of her books and delight in telling friends that we are cousins. We grew up in the same town of 2500 people and are part of a very close extended family. Please enter me in your contest. Jan
