Cathy Elliot/Finished!!!!

Okay, I have to celebrate. I finished my sequel to Buried Secrets, Forsaken Canyon, which will be out next October 2008 for Love Inspired Suspense. It was a hard book to write–suspense stories are usually because of the extra element of suspense running through the story. This is Hawke Lonechief’s story. He’s Zach Collier’s cousin. Zach keeps popping up in the story. It’s hard to keep him away. Anyway Hawke has met his match with history professor, Kit Sinclair.

Congratulations, Jeanne. She won a free autographed book from Leann Harris.

My guest this week is Cathy Elliott who writes mystery/suspense stories. She has offered her book, A Vase of Mistaken Identity for a drawing. The drawing is open until next Sunday evening (January 27th–my brother’s birthday, happy birthday, Paul). Please email me at margaretdaley@gmail.com if you want to be entered in the drawing.

Cathy Elliot’s bio
By day, Cathy Elliott works as a Library Information Technician at Shasta College. But, in the evenings, she turns into “Night Writer!” Or is that fly-by-night writer?

Cathy has been writing seriously since 2001 and is a contributing author to The Upper Room, The Christian Library Journal, Stories for the Teen’s Heart, Book 3, and most recently, A Cup of Comfort for Grandparents. She has also written ten children’s books for Perfection Learning, Inc., an educational company.

Cathy is a member of Mystery Writers of America, Sisters In Crime, American Christian Fiction Writers, Quills of Faith Writers Group, and, of course…The Writer’s Forum.

Whenever able, she works on the sequel to her debut novel, a cozy mystery titled, A Vase of Mistaken Identity. Cathy is also developing a new mystery/suspense series.
