BACK COVER BLURB
“My name’s Bradley. I’m eight and have cancer. I want to meet a Special Forces soldier more than anything. Well, almost anything. Having a family would be nice.”
U.S. Air Force pararescue jumper Joel Montgomery promised to make a sick child’s wish come true. Well, not the family part—not with Joel’s past. And so despite vowing never to set foot back in Refuge, Illinois, Joel parachuted onto the boy’s school lawn to a huge smile. But another smile unexpectedly stole Joel’s heart: that of Bradley’s beautiful teacher, Amber Stanton, who was trying to adopt the boy. And trying to show Joel it was time for new vows.
RT REVIEW QUOTE
TOP PICK!
“Cheryl Wyatt infuses A Soldier’s Promise (4.5) with kindness, compassion and love. Plus, each character in this strong story is multilayered. When young Bradley, a boy dying of cancer, writes to the Air Force Pararescue team, he gets to meet jumper Joel Montgomery, who connects with Bradley and feels an instant and shared attraction to the boy’s teacher, Amber Stanton. This absolutely fantastic debut novel proves that while challenges and boundaries are not always easily resolved, they’re definitely worth the work.”

  1. After being a faithful reader of Cheryl’s blog, I had to get my hands on her first book ASAP. So I bought the ebook.

It is HILARIOUS. My husband asked me three or more times while I was reading it “what are you smiling about?”

And the ROMANCE – well-written and poignant.

I could go on and on about her heroine, heroine, Bradley… But I won’t.

Just go out and buy this book!

  2. Thank you, Lacy! I’m glad you liked the book! Thank you so much for supporting my blog with your readership.

Margaret mentored me, you know. She probably won’t say that since she is so modest but I’ll shout it to the world. LOL!

I can really honestly say I learned from the best!

Your readership is a blessing. Thank you for dropping by!

Margaret, thank you SO much for featuring me this week.

I’ve told a few people to drop in and ask about “Flo.” He he!

    Hugs,

    Cheryl

  3. Cheryl. I finished A Soldier’s Promise way to late in the night…I think it was Saturday? Excellent book, I just loved your hero and heroine and their struggles and kindness and, well, just all of it.
I posted a review on cbd.com and Barnes and Noble.com but Amazon, of course, won’t let me post until the book releases.
I already know who I want the sequel to be about. But I’ll take whoever you write. đŸ™‚

  4. Sounds like a wonderful story. I love a soldier hero.

  5. Thank you guys for your support!! I am beyond grateful.

Cheri, the entire series will feature one man from Joel’s pararescue team. So I hope you enjoy them.

There are three books contracted so far.

Mary, THANK YOU for posting reviews online. Wait…before I thank you…maybe I better go see what you wrote. LOL! Just kidding!

I REALLY appreciate your support, and helping me get the word out.

    Thanks Margaret for having me!

    Hugs,
    Cheryl

  6. From the sound of the back cover blurb and these comments alone, I am eagerly anticipating the next book and I haven’t even read the first one yet. BUT my copy is on the way ASAP so I will get to read first hand and know what I already know: I LOVE the book, A Soldier’s Promise.
