I want to wish everyone a merry Christmas. I hope you have a Christ filled holiday. I plan to spend the day with my mother-in-law, husband and my son and his family. There is a slight chance for snow, but I don’t expect any. What are your plans for Christmas? Whatever they are, I wish you a safe and happy day.

This year, our Preacher posed these questions to us: How do each of us bring Christ into our Christmas? How would people in the Bible times celebrate? We went to the scripture and found those around Christ’s birth were not there to get something for themselves, but came to see the miracle of His birth and to bring gifts to Him. So, how can I give to others in the name of Jesus instead of looking for what will come my way. It is more blessed to give than receive and this year I found that to be true for me when I applied this truth in my own life.
