I was hoping I could get 40 pages written during fall break. Then Friday morning I downsized that amount to 30 pages. Now I can’t even make that amount because yesterday afternoon I received line edits for my May book, Vanished. Combing through the book will take all weekend and all my writing time. I’m gonna have to settle for 16 pages. Not the 40 or 30 I dreamed of. In this writing business one of the things I’ve learned is to go with the flow. This is one of those times.
The bad thing is I left my heroine and hero in my current suspense facing a dangerous situation. I wonder if they will make it out alive.
Aw, sorry about the last minute change in plans. Hopefully you’ll still get a lot done!
