It’s done!!

My son is married to a wonderful woman. The wedding was yesterday and it was so nice. I really enjoyed myself. The color theme was turoquise which if you know me is one of my favorite colors to wear. It was beautiful. I wish I had one of the bridesmaid’s dresses. Gorgeous. I didn’t wear turoquise but I did wear my mother’s dress she wore to her 25th anniversary party years ago–pale pink.

The best part besides seeing my son and new daughter-in-law exchange wedding vows was seeing my step granddaughters as the flower girls. They were adorable. Do I not sound like a doting grandma already?! They actually threw the rose petals as they walked down the aisle.

The preacher did a nice job and his talk was so on the mark about marriage and love.

Now I can relax for the next week until school starts on the 14th. Then back to my hectic schedule.
