First and foremost, I want to wish every mother out there a happy day. You deserve it. I had a great Mother’s Day. My son and his fiancee with her two little girls came over. My mother in law was here, too, as well as my son’s future mother in law. It was a fun day with family. Seeing the two girls playing and pretending is so neat. They are sweet sisters and very close.
Someone this weekend told me about using Bounce to ward off mosquitos (wear a sheet on you–like in your pocket). I tried it today and I didn’t get bit once. I hope it continues to work because it’s hard for me to stay outside. Those little pesty insects love to feast on me.
My trip to Wichita Falls for the Red River Romance Writer’s meeting was great. What a wonderful bunch of ladies. I really enjoyed meeting them and their hospitality was heart warming. And on the drive Laura and I even got some work done–brainstorming.
Only 8 more days of school but then I’m not counting down to summer!
