Finally we got some measurable rain today. It has been so long. We are in the middle of a drought here. I hate to see what our yard will look like this spring. We have tried to keep our plants watered, but I won’t be surprised if we lose some. Please pray for the rain to continue (not weeks on end but at least for several days and then come back in another week). As I typed the sentence, please pray for the rain to continue, a picture flashed into my mind of the area flooding. Brings to mind the saying, be careful what you wish for. But seriously we do need a lot more rain. We are at least 12-15 inches behind if not more.
On another weather note: trees are starting to bud! Don’t they know it is only the end of January. We have had such wacky weather this year. This month has been so warm, more like April, so no wonder the trees are confused. So am I!!!
