Happy Thanksgiving

I have a lot to be thankful for this holiday. I have a wonderful family and friends. I get to do two jobs that I love to do–teaching and writing. And best of all everyday I see God in my life.

I wanted to wish everyone a happy Thanksgiving. Don’t eat too much and if you are going out of town drive safely (and even if you’re not).

Thanksgiving dinner is one of my favorites. I love turkey and dressing. I make a cornbread stuffing with lots of celery, onions and mushrooms. I could pig out on the stuffing alone. Tomorrow I will have my token vegetable, but most of the food will be starches or meat (in other words high calorie). I am not going to have the usual pecan pie. I’ve got to try at least to watch my weight somewhat. I know, this time of year it is so hard to lose any pounds, but then I’ve decided it is hard anytime of the year for me. I am content if I can at least maintain my current weight and that takes work in itself.

  1. Happy Thanksgiving to you too! I watched what I ate all week so I could pig out some, but I admit, I didn’t do too well, lol. But we are going to be walking ALOT tonight so maybe that will help some. :0)

Hugs and have a blessed day!

  2. Pam, I tried to get to your blog but it wouldn’t open for me. I had the same problem with Cheryl’s. I’m gonna try again and see what the problem is.

I’m glad you had a great holiday.
