So how many of you braved the hordes of shoppers to go out holiday shopping on the Friday after Thanksgiving? You are braver than I am. It was successful according to the paper here. The parking lots were overflowing and that’s the closest I came (driving by).
Thanksgiving was a good day. After eating WAY TOO MUCH, I made myself move around and decorate our Christmas tree. And boy was that hard! All I wanted to do was take a nap. But our tree is decorated and the house is ready for the holidays. I didn’t say I was ready–because I’m not.
We had a wind storm blow through here last night. Dust was everywhere because we haven’t had rain. That’s the excuse I used for not walking yesterday evening. I’ve gotten allergies and didn’t want to get them stirred up anymore than they already are. It really was bad outside so the excuse was a good one. There were bush fires all over the place.
Awwww, I totally understand the allergies. Mine are worse than ever right now. And we are out of medicine and money until payday, lol. Funny how that works, huh?
I got out an braved the crowds ONLY because I, not knowing what I was doing cause I wasn’t thinking of what day that was, promised my neice to take her shopping for a birthday present for her friend. (And then her friend didn’t even invite her to the party….sigh.)
But we went to the Christian Book and Gift store. Believe it or not, we talked about how you were a teacher and a writer also. :0)She already likes you.
Hugs. Glad you had a great holiday.
I was recuperating from knee surgery, so NO WAY was I going to get knocked around at a mall! My aunt went to the Coach outlet in Gilroy and said the line was out the door. Yikes!

Thanks for stopping by Pammer and Camy. I hope you are feeling better, Camy. I have a good friend who has to have knee surgery. Ugh!
