Why do I write?

I’ve been asked many times why I write which has made me pause and think about it. I’ve come to the conclusion that I write because I have to. There is a desire deep inside me to write, and when I don’t, I feel the lost. I’ve tried to quit writing (this is a tough business), but I always come back because something is missing in my life when I’m not writing. I’ve been lucky to be able to combine my passion for the Lord and my writing in my Love Inspired books. And now I get to take another step by adding suspense and mystery to my stories with Love Inspired Suspense. So I write because I can and I can’t NOT write.
