I am title challenged. I have to come up with a new title for one of my Love Inspired Suspense books and I need help. A short synopsis of the book:
Emma witnesses the murder of her brother and has to flee for her life through the woods because the killers are after her. In the dark she ends up on the highway into town in the path of an oncoming car driven by Colin, a minister with a SUV full of teenagers. She tries to get out of the way but is shot and spins into the approaching vehicle. Guilt ridden, Colin pledges to protect her from the killers who are still after her, even though she doesn’t remember much concerning her brother’s murder. Temporarily blind (no physical reason for it), Emma reluctantly accepts Colin’s assistance. They are thrust into the mystery surrounding her brother’s murder, fighting the bad guys as well as their feelings for each other. Any suggestions?

(this has a twofold meaning, she ran out of the darkness into the path of his vehicle, and I’m assuming essentially she comes out of the darkness of her blindness, but it still sound suspenseful to me.)

(may be too much like This Present Darkness by Frank Peretti or Clear and Present Danger, but I checked amazon.com, there’s not another book by this exact title.)

Maybe it’s too cliche, but what about “My Brother’s Keeper” since the death of her brother will have to be solved and she’s blinded emotionally from the trauma. Sounds like a good story!
