Sexual tension without falling into bed

One of the things I love about writing for Love Inspired is that I don’t have to write a love scene. So how do I show an attraction developing between a hero and heroine? There are lots of ways. A touch to the shoulder or a glance can convey a connection that sizzles. I love the build up. To me that is what is important, not that they make love. I also think it is important to show two people becoming friends–emotionally connecting with the other. Friendship is so important in a good marriage that lasts. You have to be friends and care deeply about the other if the marriage is going to be for years and years. As writer we need to show that kind of relationship developing between our hero and heroine, so when the reader closes the book at the end, she believes the couple will stay together. How do you show sexual tension without the couple falling into bed?
