I know there are a few men out there reading romances, but I doubt very many. But they should. What better way to see how a woman thinks than to read romances which are mostly written by women. Men are always wondering what makes a woman tick. Well, read a romance and see. Now with that advice in mind which romances? What romance have you read that would be a great example for that important man in your life to read to help him get insight into what women want, especially you?
You can read one of my books to see what I want: a man who will support me emotionally and really listen to me. A man who will be a good friend. My husband and I have been together for thirty-five years and it is spooky how sometimes we can complete each other sentences. A deep friendship is such an important part of a good marriage. So which books would you recommend to a man to read?
You make a good point, Margaret. I think men might enjoy reading more adventurous romances like Dee Henderson’s or Ted Dekker’s. My dh never read a romance book until I wrote one. Now he’s read two of them. 🙂
Vickie, he’s read two more than my husband.
I agree with you 100%. Unfortunately, my husband hasn’t read a single blessed thing I’ve written, much less a book, not in all the time I’ve known him. This includes our years of dating. He says that means he’s undiscriminatory (is that a word?). I’d love if he read a few romances to be enlightened about how I tick emotionally!
