Happy Mother’s Day to every mom. My mother died a few years ago and I will forever miss her. She was the best mother in the world. Kind and supportive. She was a nurse and took her job very seriously. Even though we lived hundreds of miles apart, I would make sure I went home at least once a year if not more to see her. I treasured her visits to my house. I have so many fond memories of her–her laughter, her caring nature. She loved going to church and sitting right in the front pew. She would sing every song and she couldn’t carry a tune (like me) but she didn’t care. She took people under her wing and would do anything for them. Mom, you will be in my heart always. I love you. If I can be half the woman you are, I will be doing good.
