Shreveport trip

I had a great time in Shreveport and the writing conference was wonderful. The redbuds and pear trees are blooming along with some other trees and plants I don’t know the names of. It was nice to get a hint of spring on the trip. I gave a speech on making your characters three dimensional. It went okay but I was only halfway through the first page when my mouth went so dry I thought I had cotton stuffed in it. There wasn’t enough water in the whole room for me. I thought of the device the dentist uses where it squirts water into your mouth to keep it wet but immediately sucks it out so you don’t have any dribbling out all over the place.
