There are so many great verses in the Bible. What is your favorite or in my case favorites? I have a hard time picking just one.
One of the verses I love is from Matthew:
Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
When we are tired and troubled, it is so comforting to know where we can go for rest and guidance.
Another verse I love is from Chronicles:
With us is the Lord our God to help us and to fight our battles.
WE ARE NOT ALONE. Sometimes we have to be reminded God is there for us.
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Oh this is hard because I love so many! It depends on what I’m going through at the time. Probably it would be ones that remind me of God’s kindness.
Zeph. 3:17. The Lord your God is with you. He is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, He will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing.
Jer 29:11. For I know the plans I have for you are good and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
Jeremiah 31:3 “I have loved you with an everlasting love, I have drawn you with loving-kindness.”
Ps 91:4 He will cover you with His feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge. His faithfulness will be your shield and rampart.
My life verse: Gal 2:20 I am crucified with Christ. THe life that I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
(aka snowberry at eHarlequin)
I, too, have always loved Galatians 2:20 and considered it my life verse. It says it all. “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.”
But I have another short passage from Psalm 42:1-2a that expresses how I feel inside. “As the deer pants for the water brooks, so pants my soul for You, O God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God.”
Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always: again I will say, rejoice.
That reminds me that whatever happens here, time is short and I will spend eternity in joy being able to praise and worship my King.
I love all of your all’s verse. Thank you for posting them.
