For a romance writer this is a big day–a day for romance and love. My husband had sent to my school a beautiful arrangement of flowers (many kinds–roses and orchids and some I didn’t know the name of). It sat on my desk all day and I decided to leave it at school for the week since I spend more time there than at home at my desk. I especially liked the tiny yellow orchids. Very different and gorgeous.
Well, after giving it some thought, I gave my husband a set of new tools because he asked for them. He’s tired of searching for his old ones which have slowly disappeared over the years (I think my son had something to do with this). This weekend was particularly frustrating when he couldn’t find a screwdriver. So now he has several in this set I got him. We also went to dinner to celebrate.
