Interview with the hero from Untraceable by Elizabeth Goddard:

1. Isaiah Callahan, tell me the most interesting thing about you.

Let’s see, I’m a volunteer for the North Face Search and Rescue, I fly a helicopter for the Mountain Cove Avalanche Center. I changed my name and moved to Mountain Cove to start a new life, but that’s a secret.

2. What do you do for fun?

Climb mountains.

3. What do you put off doing because you dread it?

Telling the people who matter to me most the truth about my past and who I really am.

4. What are you afraid of most in life?

That once Heidi finds out my secret, there can be no future for us, and I don’t want to hurt her. Instead, I just keep my distance.

5. What do you want out of life?

A normal life without secrets. Without a past that doesn’t include suspicion of murder.

6. What is the most important thing to you?

Trust and honesty.

7. Do you read books? If so, what is your favorite type of book?

I love spy novels.

8. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I’d change my feelings for Heidi Warren. I don’t want to feel for her.

9. Do you have a pet? If so, what is it and why that pet?

I don’t have a pet but if I did it would be a malamute. I think they’re beautiful dogs that go well in the Alaskan setting.

10. If you could travel back in time, where would you go and why?

I’d go back to prevent the murder of someone I loved.
