1. Tessa, tell me the most interesting thing about you. I’m a fish biologist. What that means is I study fish and their habitats. I’m not sure why I gravitated to fish but I like the outdoors and I remembering as a child thinking that fish were so interesting.

2. What do you do for fun? I love to shop…but I shop vintage stores. They say one person’s junk is another person’s treasure.

3. What do you put off doing because you dread it? Weighting myself. I would rather go by how my clothes fit than a number on a dial.

4. What are you afraid of most in life? Losing the people I love. I suppose most people would say that. It could be in part why I’ve only had one serious relationship before…it didn’t end well. So when Jeff came along I was so reluctant to let my heart get involved.

5. What do you want out of life? To be a good person, love God and my fellow humans. And protect the wildlife.

6. What is the most important thing to you? My relationship with God. And my new relationship with Jeff.

7. Do you read? If so, what is your favorite type of book to read? I read biographies mostly. I find people fascinating.

8. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? I would be more open and not such a loner.

9. Do you have a pet? If so, what is it and why that pet? I have a fish tank with several colorful species. I have two angel fish named Romeo and Juliette.

10. If you could travel back in time, where would you go and why? Wow, that’s a hard question. I probably would want to go back to 1905 when the US Forestry service began.
