Perilous WatersInterview with the heroine from Perilous Waters by Sandra Orchard:

1. Jennifer Robbins, tell me the most interesting thing about you.

I’m not sure it’s the most interesting, but what seems to be the most novel to people I meet is that I’m an identical twin. And if not for the very different ways my sister, Cassandra, and I dress most of the time, and wear our hair and makeup, we would be difficult for most people to tell apart.

2.  What do you do for fun?

I like to play games. I’m not terribly competitive, as Sam discovered when I helped his nephew beat him at dominoes. Okay, maybe I was being vicariously competitive. J Wait until he faces meet at the Ping Pong table. My sister and I used to be college champs.

 3.  What do you put off doing because you dread it?

At the moment, talking to my sister about selling the art gallery we inherited from our parents. We will finally have control over it come our 25th birthday. And I don’t want anything more to do with it, but she loves the connections it affords her. I don’t like how it’s changing her, and now that I’ve learned our curator may be into some shady deals, besides, I’m afraid she’ll get caught up in the inevitable scandal.

4.  What are you afraid of most in life?

I guess I’d have to say my family’s name being smeared. It’s why I loathe

the newshounds and the limelight. The rumors that circulated after my parents’

accident were not an experience I ever want to repeat.

5.  What do you want out of life?

I would like to live a quiet, simple life in a small town away from the limelight and microscope my sister and I have been subjected to for the last few years.

6.  What is the most important thing to you?

My relationship with God, followed closely by my relationship with my sister and my privacy.

7.  Do you read? If so, what is your favorite type of book to read?

Oh, yes, I loooove romantic suspense. I’ve discovered this new author, Sandra Orchard, she always keeps me guessing right to the end. J And her heroes…mmm…I’d love to have one of them sweep me off my feet!

8.  If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I’d try to be happier now, instead of imagining how happy I’ll finally be when this, this and this happens.

9.  Do you have a pet? If so, what is it and why that pet?

No, but I would love to have a puppy once I move out of the city.

10. If you could travel back in time, where would you go and why?

I’d go back to the days before my mom was “discovered” as an amazing artist. We lived a quiet, happy life in a small town and were very close, much closer than we were when they died in a tragic car accident when I was a teenager.
