Taming Sheriff CoverInterview with the heroine from Taming the Sheriff by Cynthia Hickey:

1.  Charlotte Nelson, tell me the most interesting thing about you. I want to be a teacher more than anything in this world. I was raised with money and privilege. I’m so excited about teaching in a mountain town.

2.  What do you do for fun? I read mostly, although I do enjoy long walks.

3.  What do you put off doing because you dread it? Confronting people when I feel they are in the wrong. I’m strong minded, but dislike conflict. Why can’t people just get along?

4.  What are you afraid of most in life? Not succeeding at what I set out to do.

5.  What do you want out of life? I want to leave a legacy. To have my actions mean something in the grand scale of life.

6.  What is the most important thing to you? My family and my career.

7.  Do you read? If so, what is your favorite type of book to read? Oh, I simply love the classics, don’t you?

8.  If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? I’d like to be able to curb my tongue and think before acting.

9.  Do you have a pet? If so, what is it and why that pet? No pets. That’s a shame, really? I have a lot of love to give.

10. If you could travel back in time, where would you go and why? I’d travel to the garden of Eden and ask Eve, “What is wrong with you? Don’t you know how good you have it? Who wants to know everything?” The joy is in the exploration.
