This week I’m hosting Marsha Hubler with Love Song for Louellen (no giveaway), Darlene Franklin with A Texas Brides Collection and Kathleen Fuller with Letters to Katie (no giveway). If you want to enter the drawings for the Darlene’s book, please leave a comment on one of the post during the week with your email address. I will not enter you without an email address (my way to contact you if you win). If you don’t want to leave an email address, another way you can enter is to email me at margaretdaley@gmail.com. The drawings end Sunday (May 26th) evening.

Letters to Katie_nohorseInterview with the hero from Letters to Katie by Kathleen Fuller:

1. Johnny Mullet, tell me the most interesting thing about you. I’m not all that interesting…but Yankees (what we Amish in Middlefield call non-Amish) would be interested in my horse raising skills.

2.  What do you do for fun? Volleyball. Been playing since I was a kid. Even gave Katie Yoder some tips on serving the ball last year.

3.  What do you put off doing because you dread it? Telling people how I really feel.

4.  What are you afraid of most in life? It’s a tie—I fear rejection and failure. I’m not too great with heights, either.

5.  What do you want out of life? To win Katie Yoder’s heart.

6.  What is the most important thing to you? Another tie—my faith and my family. I wouldn’t be who I am without them.

7.  Do you read books? If so, what is your favorite type of book? Nah, I’m not a reader. I’d rather be outside working with horses.

8.  If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? That I would think things through more. I kinda just jump in and do something without thinking about it too much.

9.  Do you have a pet? If so, what is it and why that pet? I have a horse, but he’s not a pet.

10. If you could travel back in time, where would you go and why? Never thought about it. I kinda like the time I’m in right now. I guess I’d go back to when I was a kid and I’d do things over with Katie. I messed up with her, and it’s gonna take a lot to fix that.
