Book Blurb for Angel Falls by Connie Mann:

Regina da Silva and Brooks Anderson have both been broken by their violent pasts. But while Regina is determined to keep her orphanage children safe, Brooks, a former Army Ranger, never wants to protect anyone again. When circumstances force them together in Brazil, they find themselves pursued by a killer as they protect an orphaned baby. As the danger heightens around them, so does the attraction between Regina and Brooks. Blurb for An Angel by Her Side by Ruth Reid:

Katie has lived through tragedy and heartache. But with the angel Elias by her side, the best years of her life are just ahead.

A Heaven on Earth Novel, #3

When Katie Bender’s fiancé died in a tragic accident, so did her hope of finding love. Though heartbroken, Katie is also practical. In the years since the accident she has discovered her gift for teaching. But when a tornado destroys her small Amish settlement, including the schoolhouse, Katie doesn’t know how she will provide for herself.

Seth Stutzman arrived in Hope Falls days before the storm. And when he helps usher Katie and the children to safety, sparks fly. But Seth is only in town to help his brother, Amos, get back on his feet following the death of his wife. He can’t afford to have feelings for Katie.

Rebuilding the community is a huge task, and soon, Katie and Seth are working side by side. As they privately wrestle with their feelings for each other, another silent—and ultimate—battle for their hearts rages unseen.

Sworn to protect what God has ordained, the mighty angel Elias appears to them as a mysterious visitor. And with his guidance, Katie and Seth find the courage to take the first small steps toward the life, and love, they were destined for.

He and his wife, Linda, have a son and a daughter.

Blurb for Whispers of a New Dawn by Murray Pura:

When Murray Pura’s The Wings of Morning/was released, one of his rave reviews came from Romantic Times magazine: “Pura has created one of the finest stories of Amish fiction I have ever read….The reader will be applauding the exceptional writing and the cast of characters demands an encore performance.”

Here is that encore performance. In the third book in his Snapshots of History series, Murray brings back Jude and Lyyndaya Whetstone, the beloved lead characters in /The Wings of Morning/. The year is 1941 and Jude and Lyyndy, with their adult daughter, Rebecca, are summoned to far-off, exotic Honolulu where Rebecca, a flyer like her father, meets a likeable young pilot. The two enjoy a friendship that seems to be turning into something more serious…..until Sunday, December 7, 1941 dawns on the Hawaiian Islands.Readers who love the simplicity of the Amish, a good romance, and a dramatic historical setting are in for a treat with /Whispers of a New Dawn/.Book Three in the Snapshots of History series

  41. I would absolutely love to win Murray Pura’s book. I read book 1 and would love the sequel. Of course, it would then end up in the Alamance Christian School library. 🙂 Speaking of the time period of the book, my husband being 84 yr/old remembers that time period very well and Dec. 7 specifically. I too, remember stories my mother shared of the war period, rationing, blackouts, etc. We lived in coastal NC in the port city of Wilmington. I was a young child and really don’t remember events except as being told. Mother kept quite a few newspaper headlines/pages from the war period.

So please include me: godleyv [at]yahoo{dot}(com)

Now, I’m a wee bit confused, though. I thought the way the article read, all 3 books were in the offering. However, everyone seems focused on Murray Pura’s book – which is great.

However, I would also love to read the Angel Falls book since it sounds like an adventuresome contemporary.

    • thanks for all that Vera – yes all three books are up – you have to look for a separate spot on this website – each book is focused on specifically on a certain day – there is another book up today
