I will not enter you without an email address (my way to contact you if you win). If you don’t want to leave an email address, another way you can enter is to email me at margaretdaley@gmail.com. The drawings end Sunday (Feb. 17th) evening.

Cracks in the Ice Cover FINAL FRONTInterview with the heroine Cracks in the Ice by Deanna Klingel:

1.  Gina, tell me the most interesting thing about you. I’m the niece of a mafia don, and a world class figure skater.

2.  What do you do for fun? Well, I skate, of course. That is, I did.

3.  What do you put off doing because you dread it? I put off learning about my family. I’m afraid what I might learn.

4.  What are you afraid of most in life? When I was a child, I learned to look my fear in the eye. I was fearless. But, now, older, I’m afraid my witness protection identity will be discovered.

5.  What do you want out of life? As a child I want only to skate, and be in charge of my life. Now, I want a second chance.

6.  What is the most important thing to you? Being loved for who I am, off the ice.

7.  Do you read books? If so, what is your favorite type of book? No, I’m not a reader.

8.  If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? I would have made some different choices when I was young. If I could change that, I wouldn’t be hoping for a second chance now.

9.  Do you have a pet? If so, what is it and why that pet? No, no pets. When I was young we had Dobermans. But they weren’t pets. They were guarding the family compound. It was their job.

10. If you could travel back in time, where would you go and why? I would go back to the innocent time in my playhouse. There were two little chairs there. I never knew who should sit in the other chair. Now I know. We could sit there together.
