Heroine Interview from Take the Trophy and Run by Gail Sattler:

1.Amber Weathersby, tell me the most interesting thing about you.

I own and operate a craft shop, which is so much fun. At first I just started making crafts because I enjoyed it so much, as well, my friends loved it when I made them special gifts instead of buying things from the store. When their friends kept asking where they could buy things I’d made, I decided to open my own store, and do just that.

2.  What do you do for fun?

I love to read. Naturally.

3.  What do you put off doing because you dread it?

Baking for church pot-luck dinners. Unfortunately my ability to make crafts doesn’t extend into the kitchen, I’m really a terrible cook. I once tried to make a pie, and the crust was as hard as a ceramic statue coming out of my kiln.

4.  What are you afraid of most in life?

My business failing. In uncertain economic times, what I am selling becomes a luxury. I love being creative, I fear having to find a job where I’m unable to use my abilities.

5.  What do you want out of life?

Simply to be happy and content in love, and life. Isn’t that really what everyone wants?

6.  What is the most important thing to you?

My friend Stan. We’ve been friends before we even knew what friends were. I don’t know what I’d do if Stan wasn’t there.

7.  Do you read? If so, what is your favorite type of book to read?

I love to read! I read a variety of books, but my favorite is craft related books. I love to learn new ways to do things.

8.  If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I’d grow six inches. I would like to be taller.

9.  Do you have a pet? If so, what is it and why that pet?

I do not have a pet. One day I’d like to have a dog.

10. If you could travel back in time, where would you go and why?

I’d love to go back and watch the Wright brothers’ first flight. I just think it would be so awe inspiring to see this event that changed the world. They worked so hard amidst so much doubt, and then it worked!
