Interview with the heroine from Cooking the Books by Bonnie Calhoun:

1. Sloane Templeton, tell me the most interesting thing about you.

Me? You really want to know something interesting about me. Sheesh…I love computers, so I’m basically a nerd. But I don’t like books so I’m sort of an oxymoron, and no contrary to what a few of my friends thing that is not an actual moron. I just think books are better used as doorstops. But give me a computer, and I’ll stay awake all night!

2.  What do you do for fun? For fun I …well I probably shouldn’t tell you that. It involves guns. But my favorite food is white cheese puffs and Red Velvet Cake, so that’s a whole ton of fun!

3.  What do you put off doing because you dread it? Ugh…I dread cleaning the house because it will just need it all over again next week!

4.  What are you afraid of most in life? I’m afraid of choosing the wrong man again. My track record really leaves a lot to be desired. I think I’m going to let God pick the next one.

5.  What do you want out of life? I want a career. I want a family, and I want to succeed at being all God wants me to be without kicking or screaming too much. And I’d like to lose about 30 pounds. J

6.  What is the most important thing to you? The most important thing to me right now is my childhood home. Where my Mom and Dad raised me. Some developers are trying to get me to sell the building now that Mom had gone home to Glory.

7.  Do you read? If so, what is your favorite type of book to read? Bleck! If I had to read a book it would probably be a how-to manual for a new website application, or social media platform.

8.  If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? I’d be fifty pounds lighter and be able to sing like Whitney Houston. Well I guess that’s two…hmmm…okay go for the poundage.

9.  Do you have a pet? If so, what is it and why that pet? Ohhh…no pets! Mom was allergic to just about everything. But if I was going to get one…or two…or a couple, I’d get a dog…a big dog, and a cat. I love cats. They think we are waite-staff.

10. If you could travel back in time, where would you go and why? I’d go back and see my mom again before she went to Glory, and tell her that I loved her and appreciated everything she did in my life. I know she knew it, but telling her that one last time would have been really cool.
