Interview with the heroine from The Blessing Seer by Paula Mowery:

1.Addy, tell me the most interesting thing about you.

The most interesting thing about me would probably be that I am married to a pastor, Griffey. God has so gifted him to be a pastor – a good speaker/teacher and a good shepherd. Sometimes I wonder if I’m really cut out to be a preacher’s wife.

2.  What do you do for fun?

Reading is my fun. I love to read Christian fiction with a passion. Nothing is better than sitting on the couch in sweats and reading the latest from my favorite authors.

I also enjoy getting in a little exercise by walking in my neighborhood then I negate it by eating Chinese with my friend, Emily.

3.  What do you put off doing because you dread it?

When God prompts me to speak to someone, that is so out of my character that I find myself biting my tongue and backing away. There are so many other people who could do a better job.

4.  What are you afraid of most in life?

I’m so afraid that God will ask me to do something so out of my comfort zone. The biggest fear there would be His disappointment in me.

5.  What do you want out of life?

Though my backward nature doesn’t prove it, I truly want to do something significant for God. I see how God uses my husband and my friend as His voice. But, what can God do with a person who doesn’t have that gift?

6.  What is the most important thing to you?

I want to please God. I also want to support the family God gave to me – Griffey and my daughter, Elianna. My background is somewhat devoid of what that looks like, but I strive to do that each day.

7.  Do you read? If so, what is your favorite type of book to read?

As I said above, I love to read Christian fiction of all sorts.

8.  If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I wish I was more like Emily. She is so confident in herself and speaks out. She teaches a Bible study and homeschools her son.

9.  Do you have a pet? If so, what is it and why that pet?

No pets. No time in our busy schedule.

10. If you could travel back in time, where would you go and why?

Wow, I think I’d go back to the day my father left my mother, sister, and me. I’d really like to know why we weren’t enough for him. I’d like to ask him why we never had the happy family all my friends had. I suppose just having an opportunity to face him would help me close out that part of my life.
