Interview with the heroine: Meghan Rhodes, A Sweethaven Homecoming by Courtney Walsh

1. Meghan, tell me the most interesting thing about you. I’m a country music singer. I suppose most people would find that interesting. I’ve won a few awards.

2.  What do you do for fun? I’m too busy for fun. Besides, working keeps me out of trouble. Mostly.

3.  What do you put off doing because you dread it? Confronting my past…even the things that still affect the present.

4.  What are you afraid of most in life? Failure.

5.  What do you want out of life? I used to want fame and fortune, but now I have those things and all I really want is to have my family together—even if that means giving up the rest of it.

6.  What is the most important thing to you? My kids…but I sure haven’t been acting like it lately.

7.  Do you read? If so, what is your favorite type of book to read? I read People Magazine.

8.  If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? I’d be a better mother.

9.  Do you have a pet? If so, what is it and why that pet? No because I travel too much, but now that you mention it, I think I might like a big old dog. They’re loyal.

10. If you could travel back in time, where would you go and why? I’d go see my mama sing.
