» Posted on Jun 20, 2012 in Blog | 16 comments

This week I’m hosting Miralee Ferrell with Love Finds You in Sundance, WY., Jordyn Redwood with Proof, Vickie McDonough with End of the Trail, and Mary Ellis with Living in Harmony.  If you want to enter the drawings for the books, please leave a comment on one of the post during the week with your email address. I will not enter you without an email address (my way to contact you if you win). If you don’t want to leave an email address, another way you can enter is to email me at margaretdaley@gmail.com. The drawings end Sunday (June 24th) evening.

Interview with the heroine from Proof:

1. Lilly Reeves, tell me the most interesting thing about you.

I’m a martial arts expert and can discharge a firearm with pretty good aim.

2. What do you do for fun?

I love spending time with my best friend, Dana. Though neither one of us have a lot of spare time working as physicians.

3.  What do you put off doing because you dread it?

Finding my father and working at having a relationship with him. Sometimes, I think being alone is easier.

4.  What are you afraid of most in life?

Giving up control. ER physicians are all about bringing order to chaos and when circumstances begin to overwhelm me, it’s hard for me to ask for help.

5.  What do you want out of life?

I want to have a relationship with someone that I can wholly depend on.

6.  What is the most important thing to you?

Being the best ER physician I can be.

7.  Do you read? If so, what is your favorite type of book to read?

I have little time to read—though I imagine I’d be drawn to Sci-Fi fantasy. I get enough of real life at work.

8.  If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I would love to be able to relax and just feel joy.

9.  Do you have a pet? If so, what is it and why that pet?

I don’t have a pet. It’s not fair for the pet to be left alone for 12-14 hours a day.

10. If you could travel back in time, where would you go and why?

I would go back and try to convince my father to do the right thing and save my mother’s life. Though, it would be helpful to be the age I am now. It would have been tough to do that at the age of five.

  4. I have become a blog stalker trying to win this. 🙂 And now that I have read the interview, I’ve really got it bad! lol! Love books and tv shows about females in the medical profession–have since I was a young girl and read Clara Barton and all the Cherry Ames’ nurse books. It would be such a blessing to win this. Thank you for the opportunity!

    • Hi Diana,

I think you’ll love this book but I know you’d absolutely love book #3 in this Trilogy as it centers around Morgan Adams– who is a pediatric ICU nurse. She’s definitely in one perilous situation for sure.

  5. I’d love to be entered! I keep hearing a lot about this book 🙂

  6. The heroine sounds tough. I’d like to read more about the heroine. I like the cover.
