Dead ReckoningCongratulations to Karen for winning Patty Smith Hall’s Hearts in Flight, to Angela for winning Sandra Robbins’ Dangerous Reunion, and to Valri for winning Winnie Griggs’ Second Chance Family.

This week I’m hosting Rachelle McCalla with Dead Reckoning, Sharon Dunn with Her Guardian, and Gayle Roper with Shadows on the Sand. If you want to enter the drawings, please leave a comment on one of the post during the week with your email address. I will not enter you without an email address (my way to contact you if you win). If you don’t want to leave an email address, another way you can enter is to email me at margaretdaley@gmail.com. The drawings end Sunday (August 7th) evening.

Bio of Rachelle McCalla:

Rachelle McCalla spends her days fighting the battle between her four young children and a house paved in white carpet. At the end of each day, if she still has the strength to see straight, she sits down at her computer and surfs the web until her brain goes numb. Her stories are actually written by elves who sneak into her house while she’s asleep. If you have time at the end of your day to read her work, she hopes you like it. She’d hate to disappoint the elves.

Blurb for Dead Reckoning by Rachelle McCalla:

Risky maneuvers are no novelty for stunt pilot Ginny McCutcheon… until danger follows her to the ground. Someone’s targeting Ginny— and former air force pilot Ben McAlister won’t rest until he finds the culprit. He’ll stay glued to Ginny’s side until she’s safe, whether the stubborn beauty accepts him there or not.

Ginny tries to resent Ben’s protectiveness—and instead finds herself falling for the man whose fierce determination so perfectly matches hers. But trusting Ben means going home, something she can’t bear to do. Until someone gets very close to grounding her—and Ben—forever.

Blurb for Her Guardian:

When she was 13 years old, Julia Randel was kidnapped by the cult leader Elijah True. She escaped when she was 20. Two years later she is ready to enter a courtroom and put Elijah away for good. But one month before the trial, threats from loyal cult members lead Julia’s father to hire bodyguard Gavin Shane. Years of confinement have left Julia restless and longing for freedom. The cult members will stop at nothing to make sure Julia doesn’t testify. Gavin must not only protect Julia, but his own heart as he finds himself falling for the courageous but wounded Julia.

Blurb for Shadow on the Sand

Carrie Carter’s small café in Seaside, New Jersey, is populated with a motley crew of locals although Carrie only has eyes for Greg Barnes. He’s recovering from a vicious crime that three years ago took the lives of his wife and children—and from the year he tried to drink his reality away. While her heart does a happy Snoopy dance at the sight of him, he never seems to notice her, to Carrie’s chagrin.

When Carrie’s dishwasher is killed and her young waitress disappears, Greg finds himself drawn into helping Carrie solve the mysteries … and into her life. But Carrie has a painful past, too, and when the reason she once ran away shows up in town, the fragile relationship she’s built with Greg threatens to implode from the weight of the baggage they both carry. Two wounded hearts struggle to find a way to make one romance work. Failure seems guaranteed when Carrie locates her waitress but is taken hostage …
