This week I’m hosting Alison Strobel with The Heart of Memory and Shawna Williams with In All Things, and Roxanne Rustand with Murder at Granite Falls. If you want to enter the drawings, please leave a comment on one of the post during the week with your email address. I will not enter you without an email address (my way to contact you if you win). If you don’t want to leave an email address, another way you can enter is to email me at margaretdaley@gmail.com. The drawings end Sunday (April 17th) evening.

Interview with the hero from Murder at Granite Falls by Roxanne Rustand:

1. Logan Bradley, tell me the most interesting thing about you.
I guess you don’t run into many people who have been falsely accused of murder. I was set up, and faced down the prosecuting attorney and a jury, armed with the truth. Even when I was judged innocent, it didn’t end there, because the collective memory of a small town can last forever. Worse, someone is still out there, anonymously trying to connect me to that murder…and all too many people believe those rumors. But this town is my home. I refuse to give in to the gossips and I refuse to run.

2. What do you do for fun?
Trying to build up a struggling white water rafting company after all of the accusations last year has been a more than a full time job!

4. What are you afraid of most in life?
I am most afraid of failure, I guess. Once I set goals for myself, I just cannot give up.

5. What do you want out of life?
I want to overcome all of the damage caused by the people who falsely accused me of murder. I want to build a solid, successful business, and to have a solid family relationship. My faith and my family are extremely important to me.

6. What is the most important thing to you?
Other than my faith, it would my honor. I never could have harmed the poor woman who was murdered in this town, and to be accused of her murder cut deep.

7. Do you read books? If so, what is your favorite type of book?
The last few years have been impossible busy. I look forward to winter, when I’ll have more time to read again. I enjoy action adventure novels, autobiographies, history–you name it.

8. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? I imagine I would have an easier time of things right now if I could just let things go, give up, and move on. But doing that would feel like an admission of guilt, and it just isn’t something I can do.

  2. Sounds good. Quite a story to say the least. Am sure many people have been charged guilty who were really innocent, but the police want to solve the problem, and don't care at times. Am so glad about DNA these days, that will save a few innocent lives. Juanita W
