Heroine Interview for When All My Dreams Come True by Janelle Mowery:

1. Bobbie McIntyre, tell me the most interesting thing about you. I may not be very feminine but I can rope and wrestle a steer, break a bronco, and shoot a gun with great accuracy.

2. What do you do for fun? I don’t have a lot of extra time away from the ranch so I play pranks on my fellow wranglers for laughs. It becomes even more fun when they try to get even.

3. What do you put off doing because you dread it? I know that one day I must learn to cook and sew, but I enjoy working in the kitchen and with a needle about as much as I enjoy mucking stalls.

4. What are you afraid of most in life? I think I fear failure the most. I will put off starting or following through on something if I think it may end in failure. Yet the desire and hope of success clings to my heart and keeps me moving forward, even if it’s with tentative steps.

5. What do you want out of life? I want to be able to fulfill the dream my father and I worked hard to make a reality, which is to own and run a successful ranch.

6. What is the most important thing to you? I think what is most important is to be able to trust and be trusted. Without that, relationships will either be short-lived or can only go skin deep.

7. Do you read? If so, what is your favorite type of book to read? About the only thing I read is the newspaper. Working on a ranch leaves little time for in depth reading, and if I did have time to read a book, I’d be too tired at the end of the day to get many pages read before succumbing to sleep.

8. If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? I wish I was more people savvy. I spent so much time working with horses and cattle, not to mention other wranglers, I never really learned how to develop relationships.

9. Do you have a pet? If so, what is it and why that pet? The only pet I have is my horse Mack. Though he is the mount I use for work, he was given to me as a young colt. We spent many hours together even before training began. We’re very close.

10. If you could travel back in time, where would you go and why? I think I would like to go back to my childhood and make the most of my time with Mama before she died, rather than take her for granted.

  5. Want to enter this contest. Love the cover of these books too. Do the authors decide goes on the cover? A lot of creativeness in those too, and it attracts you to the books. Juanita W

  6. Hi everyone! Thanks for the sweet comments. I love the cover too. Harvest House did a great job. Juanita, when it comes to covers, the publisher usually comes up with something they like and run it past the author to get their thoughts. Most times, it's a thumbs-up. Glad you liked the cover.
